Bridal Beauty, absolutely flawless darhhhhhling..

31 March 11

So you may have to make some pretty tough choices when it comes to your makeup for the big day, bold and daring, or pale and innocent.

You may already have a clear image in your mind of how you want to look, walking down the isle on your way to becoming a Mrs!

Either way, don't forget about your engagment shots too! You needen't have a pro makeup artist for engagement shoots, but as you may

only be engaged once in your lifetime, you could consider splashing out for one to wave their magic wands! Or brushes!

It's all in the details, special paper craft blog!

Thank you to all the contributors for this special post!

Here are some of my favs!

This card for Japan has been created by Phantomlimb, and you can purchase it here to help the survivors of Japan's horrific

earthquake disaster. Five dollars of each card set will be donated directly to the International Rescue Committee to help their current efforts in Japan.

The pack includes this adorable handmade map envelope, little heart sticker, big heart pocket and a library lending ticket.

Such a cute gift for someone special.

This beautiful Clover Kusudama has been made by GailPrentice, and you can view more of their amazing creations here!

And last but definitly not least, it's KEYBOARD CAT! Wooop!

I love this little character, those tiny ears, bless.

Andrew and Vicky :)

20 March 11

Today I went on a jolly with these two lovely people.

Andrew and Vicky are getting married here in a few weeks time, and I will be taking their wedding photos!

They are such a great couple, and the grounds of Hertford Castle are beautiful at this time of year, fingers crossed more of those

tiny buds will be blooming on their big day, for a spectacular backdrop!

You can view more of their images here!

I know the hours and hours spent agonising over the little details,

what napkins shall we have, do they match the cutlery? Shall we have ribbons or paper?

Do you like this white, or this one?

To the point you almost think you have gone insane, but in the end it's these little details

that help to make the bigger statement.

Ive just learnt how to make these paper flowers, and I love them!!!

They will definitly be popping up all over our house.

I would love to see what you have all been making recently, and will blog the best ones!

Send your images and a little statement about your crafty-ness to info@harrieteaglestone.com

Rock, PAPER, Scissors! GO!

In true Blue Peter style...here's one I made earlier!

16 March 11

ohh I would have loved to have been a Blue Peter presenter,

card, glue, sticky back plastic and sequins..heaven!

Yesterday I blogged about the home made crafty cards I have been opening as wedding invites, which have

inspired me to do a shoot using lots of paper. Here is a mini, white paper version of something I want to

make this summer...I'm thinking summer, as paper doesn't stand up too well in the rainy British weather!

I want this to be huge, and I mean really HUGE! We shall see..down to hobby craft I go!

Paper cuts and flowers...

I love love love getting wedding invites,

each one unique, and sets the the ball rolling for the whole 'What do I wear?!' dilema.

This one is for a wedding I'm attending in August, the bright pink bow, lime green card and tea soaked paper make me squeal with delight!

Inside there are three cake stand tiers, that fold out for you to pop on display, and the bride and groom are asking everyone to

bring/make cupcakes, hence the cake stand inside, it's soo cute!

This D.I.Y paper craft has inspired me to do a shoot later on this year, with LOTS of paper! More to follow soon!
