An engagement shoot with many different directions...

19 June 11

Last April I photographed Michelle and Rob for their engagement photo's, and at the end of May they tied the knot in London!

They came to me asking if we could incorporate shots of them holding arrows to direct guests to their reception venue,

as it was slightly out of the way, and of course I said yes.

It seems the arrows worked  really well, here's what Michelle said

"Everyone commented on the photos and loved them, they were a huge success!

We also really love our engagement shots, and my mum absolutely adores them!"
You can view their engagement session here! And their wedding video here!
They have also used two of my images as their 'thank-you' cards for guests! Yay!

And a sixpence in your shoe...

Here are a few images from Nina and Fraser's wedding in Hitchin :)

They actually got married abroad but threw one hell of a party back home.

I love the sixpence in her shoe for good luck!!

You know it's been one hell of a party when it involves donkeys, nudity and policemen...

07 June 11

I knew it was going to be a great day when the bride says she is going to arrive by donkey... It felt more like a festival of fun than

a wedding, Laura and Jimmy had about 70 of their closest friends and family for their big day in a place called Capdepera on the

island of Mallorca, and we popped over to photograph it.

Normally I meet my brides and grooms before the wedding day, sit down, have a good old chat and get excited about the big day,

this time, I only got to meet the bride and groom the night before the wedding as we stepped off the plane. I was greeted by two lovely,

very tired and hungover people, Jimmy and Laura. They had both had their hen and stag parties the night before, and both hens and stags

had lots of stories to tell!!

But on to the wedding, this is a bit of a bumper post as there really, honestly, are too many photos to choose from!!

Sooo the day started with decorating the villa, followed by getting ready, arriving by donkey, a teary ceremony, lots of champagne and hugs,

portraits, amazing food, even more amazing speeches, cutting the cake, first dance, more dancing, people jumping in the pool, naked

Norman, and the police to come and shut it down...oops!

A big thank you to all the family and guests who went out of their way to make us feel welcome, we had a blast!

You can view more of the images here!

THIS is how to do a wedding!
